The Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) Education in the College of Education at North Carolina State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Curriculum, Technology, and Equity in Mathematics Education. We desire a forward-thinking scholar who addresses challenges facing students and teachers in providing fair and effective access to new models for digital curricular delivery that serve the needs of all students. This scholar will engage in one or more of these three facets of work: curriculum, technology, and equity. Preference will be given to candidates who show evidence of a curricular focus, such as algebraic reasoning. We seek a future colleague who has demonstrated a commitment to advance diversity and inclusion in research and teaching and engage with underserved and marginalized communities. The successful candidates will collaborate in interdisciplinary research and have the ability to obtain external funding to support research and graduate students.
