Center for Public Health and Community Genomics

The Center for Public Health and Community Genomics at the University of Michigan School of Public Health promotes the integration of genomic discoveries into public health practice in furtherance of the public health goals of improving health and reducing and eliminating health disparities. The Center emphasizes the ethical, legal, and social issues associated with the application of genomics and public health and the importance of engaging the community at large in the development and implementation of public health genetics programs. Project role: providing genomic curriculum content, developing and evaluating community-school activities and project evaluation.
