I am Research Associate at the CREATE for STEM Institute at Michigan State University working with Dr Mark Urban-Lurain. I have a broad formation in Biology as a consequence of my many interests. I've worked in life history strategies, molecular ecology, phylogeography, morphometrics, biological consequences of climate change, conservation genetics, fruit flies genetics, and genomics. Now, I want to apply all this knowledge in improving science teaching and pedagogy at college level. I am particularly interested in science literacy of non-science major students and the appropriate scientific formation of students planning on pursuing biomedical science careers, especially pre-meds.
