The CREATE Science Seminar Series

The purpose of this series is to help create a vibrant collaborative community at MSU around research in science education K-16, to provide a venue to disseminate and discuss innovative research methods and results, to foster relationships and networking with national and international experts in STEM education research, and ultimately to help solve challenging problems in the teaching and learning of science, K-16.

The Co-Integrate Mathematics Seminar Series

The Co-Integrate Seminar Series is jointly sponsored by the CREATE for STEM Institute and the Program in Mathematics Education.  The series is designed to support internal networking among colleagues in the College of Natural Science, College of Education, and K-12 school partners interested in the teaching and learning of mathematics in K-16 settings. This monthly series features talks by MSU faculty and graduate students who are working on projects to improve math teaching and learning at MSU and in Michigan more broadly.

The CREATE Work-in-Progress Brown Bags

Work-in-Progress Brown Bags give faculty, fellows, students and collaborators associated with CREATE for STEM Institute and/or Michigan State University an opportunity to introduce or present the latest work on their current STEM education research (K-16) and receive feedback in a casual setting. Work-in-Progress brown bags are designed so that researchers can share their current research and get friendly help, insight, and ideas from others in the local community.
