Stroupe Honored by NARST

David Stroupe

David Stroupe, associate director of STEM education for CREATE, has received the 2017 Early Career Research Award by the National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST). According to the association, "this award is given annually to a researcher who, within the first five years after completion of the doctoral degree, demonstrates the greatest potential to make outstanding and continuing contributions to research in science education."

Stroupe is currently an assistant professor of science education at Michigan State University.

MSU professor Angela Calabrese Barton is a previous recipient of the award (2000).
