CREATE's Dr. David Stroupe and Heidi B. Carlone (Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN) have published a new article in Science & Education titled "Leaving the laboratory: Using Field Science to Disrupt and Expand Historically Enduring Narratives of Science Teaching and Learning". This article is the result of conversations Stroupe and Carlone had had about field science beginning in 2018. Their research shows that field science opportunities provide expanded possibilities for students.
