This special issue of The Journal of Chemical Education is the fourth Festschrift since the series began in 2021. 37 articles from top-notch authors in Chemistry Education, have been collected, all focusing on themes that Professor Melanie M. Cooper has championed in her work. You'll find pieces on collaborative learning in chemistry, covering everything from problem-solving to lab activities; the importance of metacognition in problem-solving; innovative curriculum development for early chemistry courses; and better ways to assess student learning. Prof. Cooper's research with students and colleagues has really pushed the boundaries in these areas and more. We're thrilled to celebrate her 30 years of amazing contributions to the Journal and the field.
