PRIME research partnership awarded prestigious Community-Engaged Teaching designation

The Program in Mathematics Education is proud to announce that a long-standing research partnership, Youth Voices, has been awarded the 2025 Distinguished Partnership Award for Community-Engaged Teaching designation. PRIME director Dr. Beth Herbel-Eisenmann and Dr. Joanne E. Marciano from the College of Education's Youth Voices initiative, has been honored with the prestigious 2025 Distinguished Partnership Award for Community-Engaged Teaching.

The award recognizes exemplary collaboration in community-engaged teaching that makes a meaningful impact. The ceremony took place on March 20, 2025, at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center and was hosted by University Outreach and Engagement at Michigan State University.
