Undergraduate Research Assistant
Position Overview
The lab of Tammy Long is searching for Undergraduate Research Assistants to begin this semester. Our lab is curious about undergraduate learning and the approaches, tools, and environments that make biology accessible, relevant, and understandable. We’re interested in better understanding student experiences doing course-based research and the mechanisms that lead to positive student outcomes, such as increased motivation and ownership. Our team includes researchers with diverse interests and expertise, and as such, we're seeking Undergraduate Research Assistants from a broad range of academic majors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting research including data collection, preparation, and analysis.
- Handle confidential data with integrity.
- Interest in designing and carrying out original investigations with the help of a research mentor.
Position Details
- Hourly pay
- Average of 10 hours per week
- Position can vary in duration and last for one semester or longer depending on the student's preference
