It's time for a Health Summit, hosted by the Health in Our Hands research team!
On Friday, January 19, from 10 am to 1:30 pm, Flint students studying the 'Why Does Looking for Thrills Make Me Miserable' curriculum, will present their findings to peers, judges, and community members. Substance Abuse Disorder (SUD) is the focus of the curriculum, which leads the students to think about the question, "How can we work together to make our community healthier?"
This summit will be held at the University of Michigan - Flint, 303 E. Kearsley, Flint, MI 48503.
There are several participation levels:
Attendee (lunch is included); register here.
Judge (lunch included); register here.
If you want to donate swag (water bottles, stickers, etc.), please get in touch with Maria Salinas at "salina74@msu.edu. She will provide you with further information about how to contribute.
Please consider joining us in any capacity! The students get so excited to present their work - like real scientists - to others.
We hope to see you on Friday, January 1919th, in Flint!
