The department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior (EEB) at MSU sponsors weekly seminars throughout the academic year, featuring four special lecture types; the Spartan Eminent Lecture, Distinguished Alumni Lecture, Notable Dissertation Lectures, and Career Exploration Panels.
Each session begins at 3:30pm on Thursdays in Room 1420 of the Biomedical and Physical Sciences (BPS), across from the atrium from the EEB Hub. Nominations are accepted all year long; the seminar selection committee invites speakers from the nomination pool for the following academic year.
On September 12, 2024, EEB will hold a Town Hall, for EEB members; on September 19, 2024, the series begins with Dr. Maxwell Shafer from the University of Toronto.
