Science Chat! Friday, 4/24, 3:00-4:00PM, hosted by MMSLN (free event)

22:00 - 23:00

MMSLN invites you to a free, informal conversation this Friday afternoon.

The Council of State Science Supervisors (CSSS) - - which includes all 50 states, has created several science guidance documents. You might have seen part of the first project which resides on StemTeachingTools.

Aneesha Badrinarayan will be sharing more about CSSS Project One. Then we'll share some Place-based learning resources, created for our times….through a partnership between the CSSS and NSELA. Maya Garcia, who leads science in Colorado, will explain this work and share the resources.

All the CSSS resources are Creative Commons and can be edited in any way to meet your needs. Several states have said they are using them as is, other states are lifting the language for their work. As we continue to work in this remote space and supporting families and teachers, the ideas in these documents are critical.
