Abrams Planetarium at Michigan State University offers lecture series and public shows

The Talbert and Leota Abrams Planetarium, located on the beautiful Michigan State University campus, serves as an astronomy and space science education resource center for central Michigan. As an outreach unit of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the planetarium supports astronomy teaching on campus while offering a wide range of planetarium programs to the public—from preschoolers to senior citizens.

Dedicated to inspiring curiosity about the night sky and strengthening scientific literacy for all audiences, the Abrams Planetarium fulfills its mission by:

• Presenting immersive, full-dome shows that always feature a live, guided tour of the stars
• Offering engaging, interactive multimedia experiences
• Designing programs tailored to the needs of K–12 students
• Serving as a dynamic venue for undergraduate education across disciplines
