Research Associate
Linnea Beckett is currently working on developing a STEM Ed+ Commons digital platform that will work alongside Knowledge Commons to share, collaborate, and build knowledge with no paywall or metadata extraction. The hope is to leverage STEM Ed+ Commons for researcher and practitioner use, expand access, participation and close the research to practice gap.
Beckett draws from decolonial feminist and participatory methodologies and sociocultural learning theory to inform her approach and study of how people collaborate and learn. She is often brought into STEM education spaces to support cross-disciplinary and cross-institutional collaborations and to study the changes that occur when learning with others
