Special Workshop, April 15, 2026 at NSTA; Designing 3D Assessments in Partnership with Generative AI, 8:15am - 3:15pm, Register today

CREATE for STEM hosts, sponsors and supports STEM education happenings around MSU. We are working to help bring attention to STEM education related events around the country; please let us know if there are any conferences, workshops, etc... that you would like posted on the CREATE Events page and we will do our best to help.

We hosted Dr. Sara Vogel from City University in New York, and Qian Wu from East China Normal University during Fall 2025. A new series called CREATE Community Talks was launched in an effort to give opportunities to junior researchers to share their work, offer support and advice, and allow for open conversation around current research projects. There will be one more session of Community Talks on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Watch for details!

If you will be in Anaheim for NSTA in April, you might be interested in a pre-conference workshop on April 15. Dr. Tingting Li, Dr. Joe Krajcik, and Dr. Selin Akgun, will work with participants to create three-dimensional (3D) science assessments, supported by a powerful generative AI tool and guided by your teacher's expertise.

Our eleventh mini-conference is just around the corner! Please plan to join us on Tuesday, May 12th, in the STEM Teaching & Learning building, where we have held the event the past two years. See below for more information about our keynote speaker and registration. We hope to see you this spring.
