Schools across the country benefit from educational research at MSU

Michigan State University’s education research is driving real change in classrooms across Michigan and the nation. Backed by federal funding, MSU researchers are pioneering new approaches to teaching science, improving writing, integrating AI, and strengthening mental health and school safety. 

MSU’s College of Education has been ranked among the nation’s best for decades, holding the No. 1 spot in elementary and secondary education for over 30 consecutive years.

Spartan researchers are among the top recipients of federal education funding, leading efforts to boost academic performance and tackle critical issues that influence learning, from emerging technologies to school climate and student well-being.
