PRIME cordially invites you to attend the next Mathematics Education Colloquium on Thursday, Dec. 7th, in Room 133 Erickson Hall, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Dr. Cathery Yeh will give a presentation titled "DisCrit Noticing: Theorizing at the Intersections of Race and Ability in Mathematics Education".
Dr. Cathery Yeh (she/her/hers) is an assistant professor in STEM Education and a core faculty member in the Center for Asian American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research examines the role race, class, gender, and language play in mathematics classrooms' constructions of ability.
