Rejuvenating Science in a Dynamic World

The 73rd MSTA Annual Conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan.

MSTA's annual conference is the largest state conference dedicated to science teaching for K-20 educators, focusing on strategies and best practices in science education. The theme of this year's event is Rejuvenating Science in a Dynamic World.

On Saturday, March 7, from 9:30 - 10:30am, (Glenns 1), Dr. Cory Miller, doctoral student Kara Haas, and three participating teachers will be presenting their work with the MiTEN project, developed last year. "Joyful Learning in Nature: Reconnecting Science Methods to Curiosity, Play and Place" will give attendees practical strategies for including nature and place-based science experiences in teacher education. Please consider joining their session!
