New article on primary science curriculum design: Samuel Severance, Miley Adah Miller, and Joseph Krajcik

Don't miss the new article just published in the Studies on Science Education (Routledge), "IF science AND making AND computing: Insights for project-based learning and primary science curriculum design".  The article was written by former CREATE faculty members Samuel Severance and Emily Adah Miller, along with Joe Kracjik. 

Achieving global science education reforms is still a challenge. However, ideas from other STEM fields, like the maker movement (hands-on creation) and computer science education, offer promising opportunities for innovation in science learning. This review examines research on making and computing education for primary-aged learners to gather insights for designing more meaningful science education.
