CREATE for STEM hosts, sponsors and supports exciting events during the academic year; we are delighted to help promote other STEM education events at Michigan State University and in the larger STEM education research community. Please let us know if you are having an event that we can help advertise.
Our yearly Seminar Series has been planned for Fall 2024 and planning is underway for spring 2025. The annual mini-conference is anticipated for May 2025, and there will be other miscellaneous STEM education events scheduled throughout the academic year. Please check back often!

Health in Our Hands (HIOH) is curriculum for middle school life science that aligns with Michigan Science Standards, uses project-based learning to investigate critical community health concerns, connects the classroom to the community, builds social and emotional competencies, and introduce STEM careers. -

NSTA Virtual Workshop, July 23-24, 2020. Assessing 3D Learning
In this workshop, participants will begin by learning how to leverage student artifacts as part of a formative assessment cycle using a student work analysis protocol. Participants will also gain experience using science assessment tasks screening tools. -
