Title: Developing Teacher Identity in Elementary Science: The Interaction between Student Sensemaking and Teacher Identity
Description: There is still much to learn about how we can capture and interpret changing science teacher identity to make critical implications for teacher education and student sensemaking in science. Therefore, this study aims to a) investigate an elementary teacher's developing identity to teach science over five years and b) investigate the interaction between the developing teacher identity and students' sensemaking experiences in learning science. To do so, I specifically focused on an elementary teacher's individual, collective, and practice-level experiences in teaching science and students' sensemaking experiences in learning science.
