Answering the Call: MSELA hosts the Elementary Learning Series
You are invited to join colleagues at the "MSELA Presents: Elementary Learning Series - Answering the Call", a follow-up to the May 2024 conference "Elementary Science Matters - A Call to Action". This exciting series is free of charge to MSELA members, and only $10.00 for non-members.
Upcoming dates are: January 30, May 21 and June 4, 2025, but it is NOT a requirement to attend all sessions.

We are delighted to announce an upcoming event on Thursday, February 20, 2025, to be held at the MSU Kellogg Center from 9am until 5pm .
Please join colleagues, teachers, administrators, curriculum directors and other interested supporters of equity in STEM education for all students as we welcome members from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine to engage with our community. This will be a wonderful opportunity to share insights, ideas and suggestions on how to move equitable STEM education forward in Michigan.
Wenxiu Tang
Wenxiu is a visiting scholar in Curriculum & Instruction at Michigan State University. She is also pursuing her doctorate in Teacher Education at South China Normal University(2023-2027). Wenxiu earned her MSc. in Curriculum & Instruction(chemistry) at South China Normal University(2016-2019). She was a high school chemistry teacher for four years(2019-2023). Her research focuses on knowledge structure, project-based learning and microcomputer based laboratory(MBL).
