We are excited to offer Health in Our Hands Professional Learning for SY 2022 – 2023! Our units for NGSS-aligned curriculum and assessments for Middle Life Science is FREE online. Professional learning is free of charge, and SCECHs are available.
Using HiOH curriculum, students investigate critical community health concerns and use these real-world contexts to study the importance of both genetic and environmental factors in their risk for disease. Designed to meet the NGSS (Michigan Science Standards), the units last about 10 weeks and include three components: classroom investigations, a community action project, and a Health Summit.
