Please join us for the first official 'Research Mentoring and Discussion forum on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. We will meet in the CREATE seminar space (Erickson Hall, Suite 115 - 1st floor).
After reviewing the feedback we received from our planning meeting in September, writing mentorship and guidance emerged as a topic of great interest. It will be our focus for the next three meetings; we will tackle topics like translating ideas into grant proposals and navigating publication, as well.
New this year: graduate students can earn RECR certification credit (in-person attendance).
We are delighted to have a representative from the MSU Writing Center meet with attendees for the first half of our session, followed by Dr. Aman Yadav and Dr. Christina Schwarz, who will meet with groups interested in proposal writing and writing articles for publication.
This series is an in-person offering; we will record the session and make it available as soon as possible.
